It might be a Christmas story but it can bring a smile to your child’s face any time of the year!
TUTTLE THE TORTOISE COMES TO THE RESCUE!
Here's something that just may help parents with toddlers during lockdown (❁´◡`❁)
Following the success of my first book ‘Meet the Jolly Jangles’ I decided to write a story about one of the Jolly Jangle’s friends, he is a tortoise called Tuttle and it is a birthday story.
Tuttle wants to do something special to celebrate his birthday and whilst he is walking through the meadow enjoying the smells and colours of all the beautiful flowers an idea comes to him. He decides to have his shell painted in one of the beautiful colours, but which one?
The book, is out now and targets children from 1 to 5 years. The story teaches them about the beauty of flowers, their colours and their wonderful perfumes. The rhymes throughout the story keep the children interested and the cute teddy bears, called the Jolly Jangles, put in an appearance on a few of the pages, see if your little ones can spot them!
The book has 28 pages of glorious colour, edge to edge, and there’s a double spread with all of Tuttle’s forest friends at his party. There is also a page containing a picture gallery of his guests so you can interact with your toddlers to test their memory by learning all of their names.
This is a lovely read to share with your children. It will take them on a walk through the amazing colours of the meadow and will spark their imagination, something that may help them and you during these difficult times.
